Organisation of the Directorate-General for Healthcare Provision (DGOS)

The Managing Director has an office.

Under the authority of the Chief of Staff, this office is responsible for preparing and monitoring the General Manager’s files, reserved matters and the mission responsible for the General Manager’s internal and external communication.

The General Manager is seconded by :

A team of medical advisers specialising in the following areas:
Research and higher education
Primary care and liberal professionals
Veille et sécurité sanitaires en lien avec la direction générale de la santé
Primary care and liberal professionals
An advisor, Commissioner General of Police, in charge of general security and the national observatory for violence in the healthcare environment.

Project managers report to General Management:

The “Strategy for transforming the healthcare system – My Health 2022” project team
The “Groupements Hospitaliers de Territoires – GHT” project team
The “Territorial Access to Healthcare” project manager.

The organisation of the sub-directorates stems from the missions defined in the amended Order of 7 May 2014. The structure of the sub-directorates into offices is set out in the organisation chart. Special Advisers to the Deputy Director may be appointed to carry out cross-departmental tasks or to deal with specific issues not directly dealt with by an office.
